Step 1: nail preparation
- Disinfect HandsBegin by disinfecting both your own hands and those of your client to ensure hygiene during the treatment.
- Care for CuticlesUse a cuticle pusher to gently push back the cuticles. If you have the right knowledge, perform an E-manicure. Remove excess cuticles with cuticle nippers or cuticle scissors for a neat finish.
- File Nails into shapeFile the nails into the desired shape with a180 grit file. Ensure even edges and a smooth shape.
- Dull the Nail Plate Lightly file the nails with a 240 grit file to remove the natural shine from the nail surface. This ensures better adhesion. File carefully to avoid damaging the nail plate.
- Remove dust residuesBrush the nail clean with a dust brush and 70% alcoholto remove the dust.
- Degrease and CleanThoroughly clean the nail surface with 100% pure acetoneto degrease
the nail plate.
Step 2: Apply Ultra Bond
- Apply Ultra BondApply a thin layer of The Gel Expert Ultra Bondingto the nail plate. This provides extra adhesion between the natural nail and the base. Allow to air dry for 30 seconds.
Step 3 Apply Base Coat
- Apply RubberbaseApply a thin, even layer of The Gel Expert Rubberbase. Rubberbase provides an extra reinforcing layer under the Gel Polish.
- CureCure the product:60 secondsunder an LED lamp120 secondsunder a UV lamp
Step 4 Apply Gel Polish
- Apply Gel PolishApply a thin layer of your favorite The Gel Expert Gel Polish. If necessary, use the The Gel Expert fine liner 10 mm brushto create a neat edge around the cuticles and side walls.
- CureCure the product:60 secondsunder an LED lamp120 secondsunder a UV lamp
- Apply second layer of gel polishApply a second thin layer of gel polish for even and intense coverage.

Step 5: Apply Top Coat
- Apply Top CoatApply a thin, even layer of the desired The Gel Expert Top Coat.
- CureCure the product:60 secondsunder an LED lamp120 secondsunder a UV lamp
- Apply Cuticle OilApply a small amount of cuticle oil to each cuticle. Avoid contact with the nail to prevent the top coat from dulling.
