Step 1: Preparing the Nails
- Disinfect Your Hands
Start by disinfecting both your own hands and your client’s to ensure hygiene during the treatment.
- Care for Your Cuticles
Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back the cuticles. If you have the proper knowledge, perform an E-manicure. Remove excess cuticles with cuticle nippers or cuticle scissors for a neat finish.
- File the Nails into Shape
File the nails into the desired shape using a180-grit file. Make sure the edges are even and the shape is smooth.
- Matting the nail plate
Lightly file the nails with a240-grit file toremove the natural shine from the nail surface. This ensures better adhesion. File carefully so as not to damage the nail plate.
- Remove dust particles
Use a dust brush dipped in70% alcoholto clean the nail and remove the dust.
- Degreasing and Cleaning
Thoroughly clean the nail surface with100% pure acetone toremove any oil from the nail plate.
Step 2: Apply Ultra Bond
- Apply Ultra Bond
Apply a thin layer of The Gel Expert Ultra Bonding to the nail plate. This provides extra adhesion between the natural nail andBLISS™. Let it air dry for 30 seconds.
Step 3: Apply the rubber base coat
- Apply the Rubberbase coat
Apply a thin layer of The GEL Expert Rubberbase coat to the prepared nail plate. For extra strength, you can create a slight dome in the center of the nail.
- Curing: Cure the product thoroughly:
90 seconds under an LED lamp
180 seconds under a UV lamp
