Step 1: Nail preparation
- Disinfect Hands
Start by disinfecting both your own hands and those of your client to ensure hygiene during the treatment.
- Cuticle Care
Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back the cuticles. If you have the necessary knowledge, perform an E-manicure. Remove excess cuticles with cuticle nippers or scissors for a neat finish.
- File Nails into Shape
File the nails into the desired shape with a 180-grit file. Ensure even edges and a smooth shape.
- Dull Nail Plate
Lightly file the nails with a 240-grit file to remove the natural shine from the nail surface. This ensures better adhesion. File carefully to avoid damaging the nail plate.
- Remove Dust Residue
Brush the nail clean with a dust brush and 70% alcohol, removing any dust.
- Degrease and Clean
Thoroughly clean the nail surface with 100% pure acetone to degrease the nail plate.
Step 2: Apply Ultra Bond
- Apply Ultra Bond
Apply a thin layer of The Gel Expert Ultra Bonding to the nail plate. This provides extra adhesion between the natural nail and BLISS™. Air dry for 30 seconds.
